The season of spiced holiday beverages is in full swing. You can refresh your morning routine with peppermint coffee or mix up a cocktail that looks like a snow globe. And now, you can score a can of cookie-flavored Pepsi, which comes packaged in a little cardboard gingerbread house.

The brand’s latest flavor, Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread, has a cozy holiday feel. It combines the refreshing citrus and cola flavors of classic Pepsi with darker notes of brown sugar and molasses, plus hints of cinnamon and ginger. It tastes smooth, sweet and subtly spiced, like a Pepsi with a winter coat on.

These flavors blend so naturally together that it’s surprising Pepsi Gingerbread hasn’t already been around for years. Now that it exists, it seems like a perfect fit. However, this buzzy, limited-edition launch is totally on brand for Pepsi.

In 2021, Pepsi teamed up with Peeps to release an ultra-limited marshmallow-flavored soda, which it brought back in 2023. The brand also partnered with Little Caesars last year to sell a pineapple-flavored cola, proving that the fruit does, in fact, belong with pizza.

Pepsi released its gingerbread flavor on its own, but it did get an endorsement from the “G.B.O.A.T.” (Greatest Baker of All Time), Shaquille O’Neal. You can watch Shaq use the drink as literal “baking soda” in his cooking show debut.

Unfortunately, you can’t stock up on Pepsi Zero Sugar Gingerbread. There are only two ways to score the 7.5-ounce cans. You can order two 10-packs of Original or Wild Cherry mini cans on the brand’s TikTok shop (@Pepsi) for a free mini gingerbread can while supplies last. Or, you can enter the giveaway on Pepsi’s website through December 11 for a chance to win a can.

But who knows — if fans love the new flavor, then maybe this won’t be the last time we get to taste it.
