Before heading to your AirBnB, there are a few things you need to consider: how stocked the kitchen will be, how much you need to cook and how you can avoid packing (or purchasing) way too much food. Many rental kitchens aren’t designed for serious cooking and won’t be super well-stocked. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t make a great meal that feeds the entire family. The following dinners, all of which require just a few ingredients that you’ll use again multiple times throughout the week, will ensure you’re covered in the kitchen and can enjoy your vacation without any stress.

One more thing — for the easiest cooking possible, you’ll want to pack a few go-to kitchen tools, too. Check out our essential list here for everything you’ll need without any extras.

You can’t go wrong with sausage and peppers — especially when it comes together on just one sheet pan! You only need olive oil, salt and pepper for seasoning, which will definitely come in handy during the rest of the week. Plus, there’s hardly any mess to clean up!

If your AirBnB has a grill, you’ll want to use it to make the ultimate crowd-pleaser — pizza! This tender, tasty dish comes together in just 35 minutes and includes plenty of protein-packed shrimp to ensure it’s extra-filling. The other toppings, like cherry tomatoes and salty feta, can work in several recipes on this list, so extras will definitely not go to waste.

Simple recipes are often the best, and that’s definitely the case for these stellar beef burgers. Simply season ground beef with salt and pepper, then grill to perfection and top with Cheddar cheese. Snag some lettuce, tomato and red onion for topping, plus a few small bottles of ketchup, mustard or your other favorite condiments for serving.
